Word has been received from the Rev. Elmer I. Goshen, who has been pastor of the First Congregational church for the past four years, that he will resume his pulpit about September 1, on his return from (he East, where ho has spent the summer. The church has been closed since the lirst ot Jury, to givo opportunity for extensive repairs re-pairs to the organ, which will probably be in condition for use again in a month. C. F. Borah of Franklin, La., spent Frid.av in Salt Lake, a guest of tho Kenyon. Thoy have mining claims in the heart of what is regarded by experienced mining min-ing engineers as one of the richest nrc-produeing, nrc-produeing, districts in Nevada.
