Sealed proposals will bo received at this office until 3 'o'clock p. m, Tuosday, March 12th. 1907, for tho excavation of four (4) miles of canal containing about: 93,000 cublo yards of lava rock excavation; excava-tion; 470,000 cubic yards of earth oxca-vation; oxca-vation; 32,000 cubic yardu of puddlo embankment; em-bankment; 4500 cubic yards of concreto work; 3000 cubic yards of looso rock excavation; ex-cavation; also forty (40) miles of small canals and laterals containing about 260,-000 260,-000 cubic yards of oarth excavation. Bldo will bo received in pnrt or In full per cubic yard or lump sum from responsible respon-sible bidder.
