The sa anes given in each case are subject to a retirement deduction deduc-tion of 3 1 2 per cent, j Metallurgist and metallurgical engineer, six grades, with salar-I salar-I ics ranging from $2,000 to $5,600 a year. Applicants must have had appropriate college education and experience in metallurgy or metallurgical me-tallurgical engineering. "For positions po-sitions in the junior grades aoDli- cants must not have passed their fifty-third birthday, and for all other- grades they must not have passed their sixtieth birthday. Assistant specialist in Navajo language, $2,000 a year; Indian Service, Department of the Interior. In-terior. Applicants must have had appropriate college education and must have ability to speak and understand the Navajo language. They must not have passed their fifty-third birthday.
