He was carried down the mountain sldo for more than 2000 foot. His snowshoes wero broken, his clothes torn, and his hat lost and ho was considerably bruised by the 'fall. IBs fall was stopped by a trie, which saved his life, aa he would otherwise other-wise have been covered with hundreds of feet of snow. By Infinite Inbor ho succeeded suc-ceeded In regaining the trail nnd camo back to the mine, whoro he Is being cared f o r. Another slide occurred at about tho same time at the Iron Springs mine, near thc Gold Coin, carrying with lt Mctor English, an employee of the Iron Springs company, who was badly bruised by his ride The slides aro over 300 feet wide. |
