Beckwith, president of tho defunct Citizens' National Na-tional bank of this city, died at 10:5 o'clock tonight, after two days of unconciousness, un-conciousness, during which death was expected at any moment. For several days prior to his dca'th he refused to tako food In any form. Death resulted directly from heart trouble. Tho death of President Beckwith may materially weaken tho cases of forgery nnd conspiracy to misapply bank funds now charged against Mrs. Chadwick. |
