Dr. Preusslng Is young and handsome. Some of the more conservative women objected ob-jected to his youth. Tho doctor was tho onlv man at the luncheon among over a hundred women. He Is tho only man associated with tho club In any capacity slnco tho discharge of men waiters and the employment of women. This having been done at the request of the directors of the club, "It was said by those opposed to Mrs. Lyon that her act In engaging a man for physical physi-cal director was distinctly arbitrary. She was accused of exceeding her authority. "Something Is going to be dono about It,"' said one of the members yesterday. "Will tho doctor bo dismissed' I don't know, but really, with his youth and all, It Isn't seemly.'1 |
