Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS. State Engineer's office, Salt Lako City, Utah. Aug. 31. 1904. Notlco Is hereby given that tho Old Evergreen Mining and Tunnel company, by H. G. McMillan, Its secretary, whoso postofflce address Is Salt Lake City, Utah, has made application, ln accordance with the requirements of chapter 100 of tho Session Laws of Utah, 1903, to appropriate sixteen and seven-tenth.- (1C.7) second-feet second-feet of tho water flowing In Big Cottonwood Cot-tonwood creek, in Salt Lake county, Utah, to be diverted by means of a ditch, flume and plpo at a point on said creek from which tho quarter-section cornor at tho southeast corner of the southwest quarter quar-ter of section 2C, township 2 south, rango 3 east, Salt Lako base and meridian, bears north 35 degrees 15 minutes east S50 feet distant; also from a spring branch at a point from whero said quarter-section corner bears north 15 degrees east 912 feet distant (the Intention being to turn tho water of said spring branch Into said creek at the point of diversion first abovo doscrlbed), from where the commingled water will be conveyed through a ditch, llumo and pipe for a dlstanco of about 2500 feet, and thero be used from January Jan-uary 1st to December 31st of each year for developing power to propel mining and milling machinery at the Old Evergreen mill site, ln the southwest quarter of said section 25. After having been so diverted and used the water will bo returned re-turned to tho natural channel of Big Cottonwood creek at a point from which tho southeast corner of said section 26 bears south 13 degrees 30 minutes cast 23S0 feet distant. All protests against tho granting of said application, stating tho reasons therefor, must be mado by affidavit and filed ln this offlco after thirty (30) days and before be-fore sixty (60) days from the date hereof. here-of.
