Aldrlch & Co. of Colorado SprlngH mado a payment of $40,000 to McLaughlin Bros., Nolllgan and McGhan for soventeen claims, Including the Lone Star group. Mr. Wattorson of the firm of Lceco & Watter-son Watter-son of Bishop. Cal . who was ono of tho original owners, refused to port with his fifth Interest and will take stock for that amount In tho new company, which tho purchasers will organize. Tho deal was mado through R. W. Grlswold, who will havo a substantial Interest In tho new company. The Lono Star and adjoining claims were located by pioneers of Gold-field Gold-field and havo a very good showing. On tho Lono Star good ore has been opened up In several places and Patrick & Anderson Ander-son have a leaso In which thoy have eighteen Inches of ore at a depth of eighty feet which will avorago over $150 per ton. Shove, Aldrlch & Co. Is one of the leading brokerago firms of Colorado Springs, and they will doubtless push work on the claims. Sherwood Aldrlch and R. W. Grlswold Grls-wold have gone to Colorado Springs to complete the organization of tho new company, which will be called tho Lone Star Mining company of Nevada. |
