Show AROUND EUREKA. The Properties on Godiva Mountain Doing Much, Business. The mines around Fureka have rarely rare-ly appeared lo bettter advantage, said Frank D. Kimball, cashier of McCor-nick McCor-nick & Co.'s branch in that Tlntlc camp, yesterday. Of the properties on Godiva mountain the visitor Is quite positive they have, as a whole, never looked as well since his assignment to that arena. To those that have been operating continuously has been added the Godlvn, which waa permitted to languish for several years, the output of ore from this source now constituting no small unit In the output of the hill. The Uncle Sam's physical condition has materially improved during the past few months, aa has the Yankee Con., while Mr. Kimball says the May Day, according accord-ing to all reports, has added not a little lo Its resources. The "leaser" Is helping help-ing out In that locality, as Is he In some of the older mines, and the last quarter of the year should show a very heavy tonnage. Mr. Kimball leaves for camp again this morning. |
