The Board of Education Educa-tion met to receive bids for building an addition to tho Tlinpanogas school and for plumbing and heating the same. Five bids were received, Snyder & Towie being the lowest. In the sum of 13$5.6B. There were four bidders for the heating and plumbing, S. L. Adams & Son being the lowest bidder. In the sum. of $2550. J esse Johnson, a teacher, employed, at the Franklin school, tendered hFtJ resignation, resigna-tion, which was accented, and Miss Sytha Brown was, umploycd to till tht vacancy, at a salary of $45 per. month. The time of holding the city teachers examination was set for Thursdaj, Friday Fri-day and Saturday, September 1, 2 and 3. .
