Again he mentioned that the Illinois company had been afforded opportunity originally to pay half the cost of this exploratory work, and to come In on an even-cut basis. This was rejegted, he explained, and it was then tho majority embraced the very reasonable proposition held out to It. It was said yesterday that the majority will adhere to Its position that the basis of consolidation was fair and equitablo throughout. |
