bitterly contested fight over a county ofllce ever waged In the county was a decided victory for Clerk llolllngsxvoth lit getting a big majority over his rival David Malison This however will engender no bitterness in the party as Malisons friends have announced their Intention to enter the light for Holllngsworth and j support him to the end The convention was harmonious everything passing off PRINTED BALLOTS Delegate Fred W Chambers created astir a-stir by the Introduction of the fallowing as an amendment to the report which was adopted and made a part of the platform I3o It Resolved By the county convention con-vention assembled that It Is the sense of thla meeting that no printed ballots In the Interest of any candidate shall be used at the caucus and primaries for the election of delegates to any county or State convention unless a regular primary election la called giving a stated period within which all Republican Repub-lican voters may cast their choice of candidates and the members of this convention regret that after the division divi-sion of the county and city in the small election district that the uso of printed ballots hiss been foisted upon the Republican Re-publican voters at their several primaries prima-ries In said districts Judge JBagley and Hon William Driver Dri-ver were then delegated by the chair to escort Chairman Ilulanlskl to the chair He
