doctor on the witness stand I such a woman did call It Is not likely that she will come forward and announce an-nounce the fact In vlev of the charge now pending Dr Payne will be held without a complaint until the Coroners Jury has rendered Its verdict POSSIBLE CHARGES There are several charges that may be preferred against Dr Payne In connection lon with the death of Miss Hill Voluntary manslaughter Is the killing kill-ing of another in the heat of passion and without malice The penalty Is from one to ten years In the penitentiary peni-tentiary Involuntary manslaughter Is accidental acciden-tal killing The penalty Is I not to exceed ex-ceed one year In the county Jail Section 1181 of the revised statutes provides that every person guilty oC administering to another any chlofo
