HORRIBLE JMURIDER OF BABE HORRBLE Up j Terribly > f Choked andi its1 Little Body Covered With Carbolic Acid San Francisco Sept 1Thc horrlblo murder o an Infant child was reported to the police today by the matron of I a foundling homo on Golden Gate avenue ave-nue A stylish carriage o drove up to the home last night and n welldressed I man hurriedly l ran to n cradle which Js left under the front stairs of the homo and deposited therein a child which was found 1 few minutes later by tho matron who was alarmed by the electric ylgnal attached to the cradle cra-dle Hurrying back to the carriage which also contained a woman the coachman lashed l his horses furiously nnd drove an ay t An Investigation showed that the babe had been terribly choked and that Its little body had been swathed In cloths saturated with gin and carbolic acid The little ono lived but a short time The police have a good description oC tho carriage and the man In the case and are working on the theory that the parents arc above the ordinary station sta-tion In le
