Show MRS. JOE SULLIVAN NEWLY ELECTED LEGION AUXILIARY PRESIDENT Named to lead the American Legion auxiliary for the next year at an election held Wednesday Wednes-day evening at the Civic Center were the following: Mrs. Joe Sullivan, president, succeeding Mrs. Wayne Shelley; Mrs. C. A. Morley, first vice president; pre-sident; Mrs. W. L. Faddis, second sec-ond vice president; Mrs. Mike Brisk, recording secretary and treasurer; Mrs. Alva Gray, corresponding cor-responding secretary; Mrs. Francis Fran-cis Quinn, historian; Mrs. Glen Davies, sergeant-at-arms; Mrs. Ross Hocking, chaplain. Delegates named to attend the convention at Spanish Fork this summer were Mrs. Shelley, Mrs. Sullivan, Mrs. Hocking, Mrs. Brisk and Mrs. Gray. Alternates are Mrs. Rex Tripp, Mrs. Morley, Mor-ley, Mrs. Francis Quinn, Mrs. Faddis and Mrs. William All-mark. All-mark. A very fine talk on Rumania; host country to the interallied nations' Fidac convention this year, was given by Mrs. David . Lyon. Mrs. Sullivan reported 1200 poppies sold by the auxiliary auxili-ary workers Poppy day. Miss Elaine Erickson played accordion accordi-on selections. Bridge was played with Mrs. Gray winning the prize. Hostesses were Mrs. L. E. Snow, Mrs. Tripp and Mrs. Lyon. Ly-on. The Legion auxiliary will hold no meetings until September, when their monthly meeting will be resumed. j r' |
