cart which amazes but the reflection that every orieof the millions of blossoms used In f lavish ornamentation is fresh from the garden or field Nowhere even as a background is the paper substitute al lowed a place There Is I no laqk of flowers for wreathing festoOning > gar landing and entirely enveloping the vehicles of every description and as the processions pass sister blossoms JVtloxn every garden and wayside so that the myriads of roses geraniums carnations lilies violets acacias mar euerlt find innumerable blossoms i which uic disposedr artistic decora tion upon floats coaches and carriages often hIding them completely from J view are scarcely missed The display of Jlowort at last years Fiesta was little short of marvelous and the late 11lns this season insure I a repetition of the miracle but one can scarcely hope to see a duplicate In beauty or wealth of decoration of the landau which was occupied by thelatc President McKlhley the body of which vas entirely concealed been compiled by Mrs Frank Wiggins chairman of the hotel commlttce of the biennial local board Is a comprehensive guide book of sixtyfour pages and contains much valuable information for the f visitors to Los Angeles Twenty thousand thou-sand copies were printed The places > of Interest entertainment 0 and the pbjective points of several I excursions ex-cursions are also given The headquar tern of the hotel committee are to beat be-At the Westminster and there the committee will be found ready to give assistance to all who need it In secur inc hotel accommodations rooms and board i The
