Show BINGHAM W. P. A. WORKER KILLED IN EARTH SLIDE Pinned by a slide of earth and " lag ore against a truck which he and fellow workmen were loading, Adolph Montoya, 47, of Bingham, Works progress Administration Ad-ministration laborer, was fatally , injured in Little Cottonwood canyon last Saturday. Mr. Montoya suffered a broken arm besides the Internal Injuries believed to have caused, his death. Montoya "ved at 93 Main street and had been working for the WPA six months. He was born April 24, 1890 In Nam be. New Mexico, a son of Llandro and Clarlta Qulntano Montoya. He came to Bingham from New Mexico in 1924, but later lived at Capulin and Creed e, Colorado, returning to Bingham in 1929. Surviving are his widow, four sons and two daughters, Frank Ben, Philip, Ray Clara and Edna .Montoya, all of Bingham; three brothers, Joseph Montoya of Cuba, Cu-ba, N. M., Pete and Labriano Montoya of Capulin, Colo., three sisters, Mrs. Victoria Casauz of Cuba, N. M., Mrs. Adella Lujan of LaJora, Colo., and Maria Montoya Mon-toya of Santa Fe, N. M. Funeral services were held ; Wednesday at 10 . a. m. in the Holy Rosary church. Interment . was made in Mount Calvary Cal-vary cemetery under direction of the Bingham Mortuary. r '. |
