weie Joined by Elder P O Hansen who had been doing missionary work I in i Scotland but who had pieccclcd them to his hallc land They arrived In Copenhagen Co-penhagen harbor 11 fly years ago today They at once began their mla lonnn labors although all were handicapped by a lack of the knowledge of the language lan-guage of the country save Messrs I Fosgreen and Hansen To the latter I must be ascribed the credit says Apostle 1 Apos-tle Lund of preaching the first Mormon Mor-mon sermon in the Scandinavian countries coun-tries but Elder Erastus Snow was the man who first outdated at a Mormon baptism there He had acquired a smattering ofthe language by August 12 1850 and baptized on that date fourteen four-teen persons the first being 0 U C Monster the elder using this ceremony Ole Cinch
