Show COLLEGE PLAN ADOPTED SHELDON JACKSON TRUSTEES MAKE A SELECTION First Building to be Erected to be of the Romanesque Style of Architecture Architec-ture Will be 70x103 Feet The trustees of Sheldon Jackson college col-lege met last night in Bambcrger McMillans ofllce to discuss with Architect Archi-tect Ware the plans for the beginning of the new institution Mr Ware submitted sub-mitted two plans of the flrgt building one of the pure Roman and one of the Romanesque The latter was flnally selected for the Ilrst structure and as soon as spring opens work wJl begin so that by the opening of the next scholastic year the building will be ready The building will be 70x103 feet three stories with basement will contain con-tain a dozen class or recitationrooms and dormitory accommodations for sixty students The cost will be between be-tween 25000 and 30000 The building la the first of several which ylll be built as fast as the requirements of the institution call for them The trustees were much gratified at the prospects of the college i |
