Show Kiwanis District Plans Annual Meeting at Sun Valley, Idaho Sun Valley, Idaho, where Utah-Idaho District Convention of the Kiwanis International will meet week end of September 8-9-10. Sun Valley has two hotels, the Challenger Inn and Sun Valley Lodge. The Inn is particularly liked by families with children. Children under 10 are entitled to a reduced room rate. Their are also four chalets with four bunk rooms. The rates at the big and spacious lodge with a day double to a suit with sunroom and sundeck are available at request. Sun Valley, Idaho, has been named the choice spot for Utah-Idaho Utah-Idaho District Convention of Kiwanis Ki-wanis International. Howard E. Watts, governor of the District, announced that the convention would be held Sept. 8-10. He said, "There are 62 clubs in the District and we anticipate an-ticipate 500 to 60 members will attend the affair." Ronald E. Urry, , president of the "Home Club" of the governor, gover-nor, Ogden, has been named general chairman of the convention. conven-tion. Joe Sehee, past president of the Kiwanis Club of Sugar House and a past Lieutenant Governor of the District, has been called to serve as publicity director. Mr. Sehee is public relations director for the district: For those guests of Kiwanis who want nothing but rest, Sun Valley offers the way to deep relaxation. There are private sun decks at the. lodge for tanning and shady spots to sit and read. |
