Show telephone Company Plans Yule Show A sparkling Christmas hour entitled "A Trip to Christmas" will be telecast on the Bell Telephone Tele-phone program Sunday, Dec.' 24 at 9:00 p.m. on channel 2. Hollywood star .Janet Wyatt will , be hostess. John Raitt, talented baritone of the musical theatre and television, tele-vision, will sting traditional and popular Christmas tunes. The Lennon Sisters, known throughout the U.S. for. their harmonious medleys, will sing. They started singing on the Lawrence Welk program on a Christmas Eve. 1955, and have been in the public eye ever since. Other stars will include Lesa Delia Casa, a native of Switzerland, Switzer-land, who appeared on the Bell Telephone show" two years ! ago; Jane Morgan, a popular singer whose recordings have sold in the millions, and Violette Verdy and Edward Vinella of the New York Ballet . Rounding out "A Trip to Christmas" will be accompaniment accompani-ment of Donald Vorhees and his orchestra, now in its 22nd year on the air . |
