Show UTAH VALLEY STEELMARIC DAYS -RIGHT FROM THE HORSE'S MOUTH! ? -ft.'.., s , S??-.''' s - , : Even horses won't "neigh" Utah Valley Steelmark Days as stunt-loving Gypsy, the sophisticated sorrel, gets ready to nose her way into the big valley-wide "salute to men of steel" now set for Sept. 29, 30 and Oct. 1. Owned by two of Utah's prettiest twin cowgirls Lilian and Vivian Detomasi the trained mare would do anything but a soft shoe dance to win a place in the show. The Orem twins, shown here, are members of the Consolidated Western Riding Club and have brought their beauty and riding skill to area rodeos, riding contests and special events. Their father, John Detomasi, is an electrician at Columbia-Geneva Steel's nearby Geneva Works. People, too, are enthusiastic about Utah Valley Steelmark Days and civic and business leaders from nine communities already are busy making plans for the upcoming event. Asked for her comment com-ment on the three-day celebration, Gypsy snorted: "How can I talk with this big banner in my mouth?" |
