Show BYU Signs Editor For Monday Talk Norman Cousins, editor of the Saturday Review, will address the student body of Brigham Young University at the forum assembly Monday at 10 a.m. in the George Albert Smith Field-house. Field-house. Mr. Cousins, who recently completed trips to Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Far East, will discuss the conditions con-ditions of the world today. In conection with his editorship editor-ship of the Saturday Review, Mr. Cousins has been to every corner cor-ner of America and to every continent con-tinent in the world. He has made six trips to the Far East since World War II. His 1951 trip was under the sponsorship of the U.S. government and he lectured at universities and public forums in India, Pakistan, Ceylon, and Japan on the subject of American Ameri-can relationship to the rest of the world. An interpreter or analyst of history in the making, he represented repre-sented his magazine and two ma jor radio works at such events as Egypt-Israeli crisis in 1956-57; 1956-57; the Asian-African conference at Bandung, Indonesia, in 1955; the East-West crisis in Germany in 1953; the Korea War in 1951; the Berlin Air Lift in 1948; and the atomic test explosions at Bikini. |
