CIIRISTENSEN Before a large crowd in Salt Lake City Commission chambers two city commissioners, four city judges and a city auditor took their oaths of office this week. JShe group included two new-clw.jrs new-clw.jrs City Commissioner Theo-dfife Theo-dfife (Ted) Geurts, slated to take over duties of finance commissioner; commis-sioner; and City Judge James L. Barker Jr., named to fill the term of the late Judge Leland G. Larsen. City Recorder Herman J. Ho-gensen Ho-gensen administered the oaths. Other officials sworn in were City Commissioner Joe L. The name of Ted Geurts, member mem-ber of the Salt Lake City Board of City Commissioners, was put on room 313 in the city and county building. The room formerly for-merly was occupied by City Commissioner Oliver G. Ellis, whom Mr. Geurts defeated.s It was understood that Mr. KJp, will again become City Treasurer, Treas-urer, the position held prior to his appointment to the commission commis-sion upon resignation of former Finance Commissioner Lyle B.
