Show U of U Grad Receives Medical Fellowship Dr. Wesley C. Wilcox, Seattle, a University of Utah graduate, is one of nine young scientists chosen by the National Academy of Sciences, National Research Council, to receive a Donner Fellowship for Medical Research under the sponsorship of the Donner Foundation of Philadelphia. Philadel-phia. Dr. Wilcox is a virologist. As a Donner fellow, he plans to do research, in virus infections and the ability of the cells to resist them, in the Department of Preventive Pre-ventive Medicine, Western Reserve Re-serve University, Cleveland. He was born in St. Anthony, Idaho. The University of Utah awarded him the B. A. degree in 1950 and the M.S. in 1955. He completed his studies for the Ph.D. degree this year at the University of Washington at Seattle. |
