Hunt, defendant: You are hereby required to appear in an action brought aeainst yon dv the above named plaintiff in the dlatrict court ef the Third Judicial district of the territory of Utah, and to answer the com- ?ilaint Bled therein within ten days (exclusive cf be day of service) after the service on you of this summons if served within this county; or, if served out of this connty, bat in this dintrlct, within twenty days; otherwise within forty days or judgment by default will be taken anami-t you, according to the prayer of said complaint. The said action is brought to have judgment against the defendant in th sum of $50, with interest in-terest thereon from the :28th day of December, 1890, at tho rate of ten per cent per annum and costs of this action ; alleged to be the amount of a certain promissory note, executed and delivered to the plaintiff by the defendant, by signing the same as "Mike hunt" at Salt Lake, November 2, 18tK, due in one month from said date, and bearing bear-ing ton per cent interest ; and that srH defendant has not paid the same nor any part thereof. And you are hereby notified that if yoa fail to appear and answer the said complaint as aiove required, the said plaintiff will take judgment against yoo for the sum of $50, with interest and coots of this action .
