Show I IN THE DISTRICT COURT IN AND FOR the Third Judicial district of Utah territory, county of Salt Lake. V. G. Matthews, plaiuuff, v.. M.J. Hunt, defendant, summons. The people peo-ple of the territory of I tah send greeting: To M. J. Hunt, defendant: You are hereby required to appear in an action brought against yon dv the above named plaintiff in the distr.ct court of the Third Judicial uistrict of the territory of Utah, end to answer the complaint com-plaint filed therein within ten days (exclusive of the day of service) after the service on you of this summon if served within this connty; or, if served oat of this connty, but in this district, within twenty days; otherwise Within forty days or judgment by default will be taken (gainst you, according to the prayer of said complslut. The said action is brought to have judgment against the defendant in the sum of $50, with interest in-terest thereon from the 28th day of December, 1800, at the rate of ten per cent per annum and cost of thi action ; alleged to be the amonnt of a certain promissory note, executed and delivered to the plaintiff by tbe defendant, bv signing the same as "Mike Hunt" at Salt Lake. November 28, 1890, due in one month from said date, and bearing bear-ing ten per cent interest; and that said defendant has not paid the same nor any part thereof. And yon are hereby notified that if you fail to appear and answer the aid complaint as above required, the said plaintiff will take judgment against yoa for the sum of $50, with interest and cost of thi action.
