Show EMANCIPATION DAY. Sow It Will Be Observed by the Afro-Amorican Afro-Amorican Citizens. To-morrow is Emancipation day, and the Afro-Americans will remember the anniversary anniver-sary of their freedom in a manner fitting to the day and occasion. ; V ABRAHAM LISfCOLX. The leading representatives of the colored men in this city are taking commendable in-terest in-terest in the proerani and there is rich promise prom-ise of a fitting observance of the anniversary anniver-sary of their emancipation. The committee in charge of the anniversary anniver-sary of Emancipation day wish it understood under-stood that the observance of that day (tomorrow) (to-morrow) has no local political signification. The Afro-American citizens of Salt Lake City desire to observe tbe day and honor the man they owe so much to. Rev. A. W. Talbert will be orator of the day, and Mr. Bruce K. Johnson master of ceremonies. Others will make short addresses. ad-dresses. The exercises tomorrow will bo held in the Auditorium on Seeond West street.
