Secretary Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, Salt Lake City, Ctah: Sib: A large and important meeting of the business busi-ness men and shippers of Salt Lake City, representing repre-senting the guat-r proportion of the entire freight movement of Utah territory, having requested the enlargement of the committee appointed to negotiate nego-tiate with transportation companies for a readjustment read-justment of freight rates, tariffs, etc., so as to in-clnde in-clnde in the meuibersnip of said coinmi.tee gentlemen gen-tlemen representing all of the various lines of trade and industry carried on in the territory, and that said committee have authority to select its own chairman, secretary aad active sub-committees, and the said request bavin? been approved by a majority of the board of directors of the chamber of commerce and the transportation bureau in a letter of this date addressed to me.
