Railroad men are interested deeply in the meeting of the Transcontinental association at Chicago on September 5 to consider the proposed reduction of the Atchison, Topeka fc Santa Fe Railway company of Missouri river rates to California and Oregon, and second-class to 114.60. The proposed reduction reduc-tion of the Santa Fe is looked upon by local railroaders as a large auburn bluff. |
