Show THE FEDERATED TRADES. A Pactional Fight Now in Progress Lively Developments Expected. Certain members of the Federated Trades affect great indignation over the statement in Saturday's Times that ill-feeling has cropped out in the council and that in consequence con-sequence the members are arrayed in factions fac-tions and declare that if they can learn the source from where the information came they will make it decidedly sultry for the offending individual. In spesking of the factional strife, a member mem-ber said to a Times representative today that all the trouble was due to a recent arrival ar-rival who is making a fight on R. G. Slcator, who holds a commission as organizer for this district, and he had even gone so far as to 6end charges concerning that trustworthy advocate of labor's interest to the headquarters head-quarters of the Federation in the East. "Knowing the two men," said he, "as well as we do, we propose to stay by Sleator through thick and thin, and before we get through we expect to show up the record of his principal detractor." All of which shows that the Federated Trades is in a very bad way. Lively devel-opments devel-opments are expected shortly and in the melee the fur will fly. |
