The hanging In effigy of the bodies of Senators Warren and Carey of Wi oming, in this city this morning, created great excitement. At daybreak the crowds commenced gathering in front of the Reed hotel, and all expressed approval of the hanging in hearty cheers. The crowd became so great by 11 o'clock that Capt. Smith, the actinif chief of police, arrived on the scene to have the bodies cut down.
