Show . Musical Melange. The Choral society held it regular meeting meet-ing last evening and selected the following officials: President, J. D. Spencer; secretary, secre-tary, F. K. Gillespie; treasurer, A. H. Pea-body; Pea-body; with Prof. Stephens as conductor aud A. II. Peabody as assistant. The two latter, with Mrs. Dr. Sykes, were appointed an examining ex-amining committee, and out of the 150 members present it is understood that all, with one or two exceptions, have proved acceptable. The society hereafter will meet in the old Odd Fellows' hall on Main street, opposite the Walker house, where all mem- bcrs are requested to meet next Monday night at 7:30. The Orpheus club gave an excellent rendition of "In Absence," which was heartily encored by the members of the Choral society. Prof. Radclifle's recital in connection with Rev. Wesley Hill's services at Ogden Sunday Sun-day evening was listened to with keen appreciation, ap-preciation, and the auditorium was crowded and stanuing room in demand. |
