Show I POLICE COURT. Wst of Cases Tried Today Before Justice Kesler. , William Fox. arrested on the charge of assault and battery, the complaining witness being C. W. Kneuttell, was the leading case in police court this morning. When Fox remonstrated with Kneuttell the latter informed him that he was the son of a mother with a shady repu-putation, repu-putation, w hereupon Fox slapped him in ihe jaw. Fox was fined $5. ; Jim Bates was up for being drunk, committing com-mitting a nuisance and usin-j abusive language. lan-guage. Jim pleaded guilty and wai fined $5 which he will work out in the gravel pit. George Dayton also pleaded guilty to a fc.milar offense and was lined a similar amount.
