Show Sumtsoas, IN THE DISTRICT COURT IN AND FOR the Third Judicial district of Utah territory, county ot Salt Lake Harriett Cook, plaintiff, vs. Jessi W. Cook, defendant. The people of the territory ter-ritory of Utah send greeting to Jesse W. Cook, defendant. You are hereby required to appear in an action brought aainst ycu by the above named plaintiff, in the district court of the Third Judicial district of the territory of Utah, and to answer the complaint com-plaint filed therein within ten days (exclusive of the day of service) after the service on you of this summons if served within this county: or, if served eut of this county, but in this ' district, within twenty days ; otherwise within forty days or jadgment by default will be taken against yon, according to the prayer of said complaint. The said action is brought to have a decree of thi s court dissolving the bonds of matrimony existing ex-isting betwevn plaintiff and defendant: awarding to plaintiff the care and custody of the minor chid, issue of said marriage, and granting plaintiff plain-tiff general relief; prayed su the folowing grounds, to-wit: That on cr about July, 1889, de-lendant de-lendant wilfully and without cause deserted and abandoned this plaintiff, and has ever since continued con-tinued so to wilfully and without cause desert and abandon her, against her wiil and withont her consent; that since tkeir said marriase defendant bas treated (.lttintiff in a cruel and inhuman manner, man-ner, causing her greet bodily harm and mea'al distress; tiat for mare than one year la.t past defendant de-fendant has faiied to provide lor plnintitf the common necessaries of life, althouch able ao to do. And yon are hereby notifled that if yon fail to appear and answer the said complaint as above repaired the said plain ltd will apply to the oourt for tae relief ceniaadew therein. Witness, tae lion.
