The Grand Junction Star has the following: follow-ing: There is talk of building a new wagon td which will shorten the route from this ty to Moab, Utah, which can be done .th very slight expense. The pros I led road will cross the Gunnison r on the new county bridge, and from lie re to Beaver Creek via the present trav-I trav-I road via the Little Uolores and down s creek to Thompson Brothers' winter camp, from there down the deer trail to the I I rand river. At this point there will have constructed three or four miles of new toad tn connect with the present traveled road from Moab to Cisco. This will open up a new road to Rrnnd Junction and bring us trado that now goes i i S:lt Lake City. The route is well watered and on an almost direct line from our city 10 Moab. It also takes the upper aud lower Coales creek ntid Copper creek mining districts, dis-tricts, w hieh Mr. George Wheeler, our in-formant, in-formant, aays surpasses anything in surface liealions he has seen on the western -lope.
