Show socim r DAWES, Several Brilliant Social Affairs l ast Evening;. Even-ing;. The "german" of the St. Mark's club last night was one of the most elegant social affairs af-fairs of the season. It was a splendid society event and was attended by some of the best known people in the city. About forty-five couples participated in the dance programme. Among those present were Misses Blanche Kimball. Stevens, Walker, Dolly Walker, Palmer, Morlan, Faulkener, Blanch Viola Smith. The second ball of the Scandinavian soci-ety soci-ety wiib given last evening, it was an enjoy en-joy able success but, owing to a misunder standing about toe ball, was not as largely attended as was the first dance.
