The substitute directs the committee on judiciary to investigate in-vestigate the Pinkertou detectives character, their employment by corporations corpora-tions engaged in transportation of interstate inter-state ci mrnerce or United State mails, the number so employed, whether such employment employ-ment has provoked a breach of the peace or caused the destruction of property.
