Rats. The Union Pacific leaving Salt Lake at 6 a. m. arrives in Chicago at 9:30 a. m. the second day. The passenger can leave Chicago at 10:30 a. m. and land in New York at 2:10 p. m. next day. If he does not arrive in Chicago until un-til 2:15 as stated by the daybreak sheet he doesn't get to New York until 7 p. m. A gain of five hours. See?
