Show Postmaster General Wanamaker publishes ao article in the American Agriculturist in which he advocates a universal free delivery of mail. He calls attention to the fact that the extension ex-tension of the free delivery service has always led to an increase, of the postal revenues, and he expresses the belief that the proposed universal system would soon pay the greater part of the expense involved. Mr. Wanamaker points out the reasons why farmers should be given the benefit of such a service, and makes out a very strong case in favor of the plan. |
