Show SOUTH DAKOTA REPUBLICAN. Local Causes Have However Resulted in a Rather Light Vote. St. Paul, Nov. 3. Chiefly o account of the large number of men engaged in threfh-ing threfh-ing wheat in South Dakota, the vote in that state is light. A great deal of "paring" has been done by these men but it is doubtful whether that fact will affect the general result. County commissioners are being voted for besides a congressman to rill the vacancy caused by the death of James E. Gamble. The weather so far as reported is fair. Both republicans and independents claim to be getting the most votes, but the vote seems to be the more favorable to formea. Yaxktcx, S. D., Nov. 3. The weather is cloudy but w arm.
