The examination ot Ed Murpby, who was picked up while wandering aimlessly aim-lessly through the wilderness east of the penitentiary and after being thrown into the county jail attempted to liberate liber-ate himscif by cutting his throat, was ordered before the board of examiners at 4 o'clock this afternoon to answer a charge of insanity. Murphy made his appearance at Brig Young's ranch recently and went through such hideous hid-eous gyrations as to frighten a nephew of Mr. Young into hysterics. Mr. Y'oune made complaint to Deputy Sheriff Sinoot, who went in search of the fellow and caught him on the bench. Murphy rerved a term of ISO days at tho county Jail for petty larceny. After his discharge he began to drink very heavily, and it is thought his reason was overthrown. |
