It provides that any proprietor, propri-etor, lessee or occupant, engineer en-gineer or lireman of any building build-ing in which a boiler is or may be used for generating steam or electricity who shall permit or allow dense smoke to issue or be emitted from the chimney chim-ney or chimneys thereof used in connection con-nection with such boiler, etc., within the corporate limits of Salt Lake City shall bo guilty cf a misdemeanor, and thai!, upon conviction, fur every such ollense be lined in a sum not lci?s than 45 nor more than $50, aud each day in which such smoke is permitted to Usuo shall constitute a separate oflense.
