Following are the prizes und conditions condi-tions of the band concerts so far as formulated: for-mulated: .Seventy five dollars and gold medal for the best military band in the territory terri-tory of twenty or more men. Fifty dollars and silver medal as first prir.e for best military band of less than twenty meu. Second prize, gold mounted baton. Third prize, one set of baud books. Twenty-five dollars as first prize for brass bands. Silver medal as second prize for brass baud. Hands must have been organized at laastsix month before the contests; and at least two-thirds of the members shall bave been members for that length of time. The selection of music wiil be one overture or other selection of tho contestant's own choice. It is the object of the association that previous to going to the fair all the Lands play the sume selection on a arand niaroh of musicians down Main street, aud a suitable quickstep will be furnished for this occasion early in the coming weeft. It is impossible to provide stalls and give jntUfaction unless tho entries are made immediately. The rules provide that all entries must he made two weeks before be-fore the fair, and stalls are beii g spoken for at a very rapid rate.
