Fla., but when the revenue otlicial.-. w ired that firm the reply was re-turned re-turned that the cigars had not been made bv thcoi, and that t'tt.tHHi.fMH'l fraudulent cigar's bearing the linn's brand had been disposed of by unknown parties in and around San Francisco. An investigation showed that the cigars seized had been consigned to Davis, 'Hubcr .V Co. by a New York firm, .iitd many of them were made by Chinese manufacturers of this city aud scut cast, whence they were r-eshipped. . , |
