Culonol Nye. chairman of the republican repub-lican campaign committee went before the election commissioners this morning morn-ing and requeued that two members of his committee be permitted to remain on guard over the vault in w hich the returns and documents were preserved, night and day until tho otlicial canvass has taken place.
