D Clark 82 of Farm- Farm Farmington Farmington ington who died Saturday in the Dee ee hospital in Ogden due to in- in injuries injuries juries uries sustained when he was struck truck by a bicycle on June 4 was wasa a man who had much in inmany inmany inmany many ways ways ways-he he was a distinguish- distinguish distinguished ed d man man man-He He had pioneered in two states Idaho Idaho and Wyoming He started without money in a new country was not financed nor aid aided aided ed d by any anyone one but his family but through his industry frugality and perseverance he became one of big cattlemen with hun of acrs of land and and- andas as many manyas as s a thousand head of cattle Besides rearing an exceptionally large family and giving all of them the he best in an educational way that the he leading colleges of the land af- af aford afford aford ford ord he and six of his sons filled missions he himself had been on onhree three missions returning from the the- last ast one to California about two years ago Several of his grandsons are now finishing their doctors doctor's degrees and ind one son has just obtained his hish Ph h D at the George Washington University He has sixty-four sixty liv- liv living living ing ng grandchildren and several great-grand great children In both Idaho and Wyoming Mr Jr Clark served as county com corn commissioner missioner and general community leader He was a strong supporter of education and gave all of his Children a liberal opportunity in inthe inthe the he best colleges in the land Mr Clark had a strong spiritual devotion freedom of thought and action He held the respect and es- es esteem esteem teem of his family and many friends through his and use use- useful useful useful ful life He was a high priest and was very active in church work all his life Mr Clark was born in Farming- Farming Farmington ton February 13 1856 a I. I son of Ezra T.
