Little Kock, Ark., Feb. 8. -A joint committee of tho house and senate has adopted the resolution refusing to recommend re-commend any appropriation for the Columbian exposition. The members of the committee stated that owing to the large deficiency in the treasury, I caused by the speculations of the stato treasurer it was inexpedient to make any expenditures that could be avoided.
