If the revolutionary tendency keeps up in South America much louger, every country in that section of tho earth will bo iu a turmoil. Brazil, which recently kicked monarchy from the throne and set up a republic, has lapsed into a quiet state, but there is no telling when some new excitement in that country will unsettle the new condition con-dition of affairs. The Argentine republic re-public has just passed through a bloody revolution.and is yet in a feverish state. And now comes the news' that serious trouble is brewiug in Chili, and that a revolution is likely to be the result. |
