Special to TllE Times Timothy Harrington, one of tho Irish envoys to the United States, arrived in Queenstown this morning froih New York. Mr. Harrington w as the only one of the Irish delegation to America who refused to sign the manifesto man-ifesto insisting on tho withdrawal of Parnell from (he leaders!) pof the party at the dictation of Gladstone. On alighting from the tender he was given a i ovation. Delegations by the hundred, hund-red, each headed by a brass band playing play-ing patriotic airs, came from the surrounding sur-rounding country to meet him. He made a ringing address in which he bitierly denounced the men whom Parnell Par-nell had dragged from ob-curity and who had proved a traitor to Ireland as wtdl as to their chieftain. He was particularly par-ticularly severe on Healy and Seton, w hilst he entirely ignored McCarthy. |
